At Yogana, I believe yoga is a powerful tool for healing and self-discovery, offering a gentle yet transformative path for every body. My approach focuses on Yin yoga’s meditative stillness and gentle flow classes that seamlessly blend movement with breath. These practices invite you to slow down, listen to your body, and move in a way that feels right for you, meeting yourself exactly where you are.
In Yin yoga, you’ll discover the art of surrender through long-held postures that release tension and encourage self-awareness. My gentle flow sessions create a rhythm of mindful movement, helping you connect with your body and the flow of life beyond the mat.

PHILOSOPHY
YOGA AS A LIFESTYLE
Functional yoga is about meeting your body exactly where it is and honoring its unique needs. It’s a gentle reminder of the ways your body can move, supporting you to build strength, flexibility, and awareness without pressure or judgment. Too often, yoga aesthetics discourage people, making them feel like they need to "look the part" to practice. But yoga isn’t about how you look—it’s about how you feel in each posture and the lasting effects it brings to your body and mind. My approach is designed to help you feel confident, comfortable, and connected in your own body.

ALANA KILPATRICK
My style is non judgmental, self explorative and educational.
I trained in a Multi- style school in Goa. In my 20's I favoured the more faster and hot styles of yoga like Ashtanga and Vinyasa. What I love about yoga, it is a journey that will evolve and take different shapes as you expand and grow on your journey. As a Mum of three, I am now more drawn to a meditative and still Yin practice. However I do love a bit of gentle flow and you will find this interlaced in my classes.
